Commercial office cleaning requires a competent outside contractor

Working with many commercial office cleaners can be a difficult and frustrating experience. My company is based in NYC and they have signed regional contracts with different office cleaners. When our cleaner wouldn’t arrive on time, or complete a job, we would embark on a frustrating trip up the corporate ladder before we got a hold of the person responsible for the local office cleaning contract.

Being in NYC at the time, he had little contact with the cleaner, and was able to do little to affect service locally. My advice is to contract with a NY office cleaner if you are based in NY. Let individual offices sign local contracts with office cleaners so that you have the ability to remedy problems without creating a whole new labor expense (complaining about your office cleaner to the New York office).
